Join us for our annual horse ride and caroling! (Okay, we don’t usually actually sing, but we do dress up with our equines in holiday attire and jingle our way around the paved Martin Murphy Trail). This ride is approx. 45 minutes long and paced at a walk. The paved loop is approx. 2 miles, and is shared with walkers, bicyclists, dogs, tricycles, and strollers. Everyone is happy to see the horses all dressed up for the holidays with their bells ringing.
No trail riding experience is necessary, but we do ask that your horse (or mule!) acts appropriately in group settings and is safe for others to be around. Please, no pets at club rides, and no ponying of unridden horses. Club membership is required to attend these rides, due to club insurance restrictions.
Ride-out time is usually 11:00.
Bring your lunch and a folding chair – we often like to hang out and socialize together after the rides!
